Omniscope
EDC Vegas 2019
Assisted in constructing a 35’ sculpture titled “Omniscope” that served as a beacon of light and joy at Electric Daisy Carnival 2019 in Vegas.
Role: Was a part of the small crew under the main artist that built the world's largest Dichroic Kaleidoscope that stood 35’ tall and was showcased to the 400,000+ people who attended the three-day event. My tasks involved me working with power tools to assemble panels, assisting the artist Davis McCarty @dicrodavis and the artist contractor, Chris McKay, while also managing the building material workstation.
Northcoast Music Festival
Chicago 2019
In collaboration with John Schroeder, Chris Mckay, and BaM Creates. This sculpture was fabricated and programmed for the opening of a number of graffiti projects, A University of Illinois Chicago Flames event, the Northcoast Festival, and other private events.
Role: A combination of metal, acrylic, and LED light poled, I assisted with the fabrication and transportation of materials to set up this structure.
In tandem with this work, I also modeled for mua Michelle Mink @minklovesyou and BaM Creates to be a body-paint and makeup model, gogo-dancer, and experience creator.
One-Z-Party
The MID 2019
Assisted in gathering materials and assembling set pieces for a club event at The MID in Chicago, IL. One Z party is an event that takes place once a year and is hosted by BAM Creates, an event company located in Chicago. The event celebrates wearing onesies and getting comfy while having a good night out.
Role: My role during the setup of this event was to help run errands to gather the needed materials such as fabrics, furniture, and other accessories to help decorate the space. I also assisted with designing the layout of the back-stage set up and the bar features.
Daybreaker
Water Tower Place 2019
Worked as a production assistant for Davis McCarty and Christopher McKay for the Water Tower Place DAYBREAKER event in Chicago. This was an overnight setup to get ready for the 5 am event start time.
Role: My role was to help with the setup and breakdown of the event space, manage event flow, including crowd control and attendee experience, and coordinate with volunteers and other artists to assist in completing all necessary tasks for the event.
